RECENT EVENTS DECEMBER 2008 Champagne Tea and Entertainment at the Camden Centre, Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells. Please join us, and take a break from shopping. This was a great afternoon, away from the shops, with folk music and story telling, and raised over £1200. MAY 2008 Another regular event is the SPRING WALK. A fine afternoon's stroll through woods followed by a hearty tea raised over £200 in donations and gained several new supporters DECEMBER 2007 Once again we held a pre-Christmas entertainment in a supporter's home. Mince-pies, singing, story-telling, punch and wine. OCTOBER 2007 The AUCTION OF PROMISES proved to be an enormous success, enjoyed by nearly 100 people. The evening grossed just over £4000. We thank all who worked so hard to make this possible JUNE 2007 Lucy completed the 104 miles of the Circuit of the Cotswolds Cycle Ride in 8 hours and 29 minutes. In September she ran the Bristol half-marathon, in total raising nearly £1400. In 2008 she went to work as a volunteer in Mbarara, Uganda
