Antokia Children's Charity, Uganda.

The Antokia Children's Charity supports disadvantaged children in Uganda and focuses on education as the means to them improving their own lives and enabling them to take an active part in the development of their community - perhaps of their country. We work entirely at a local level with community organisations and schools who know the children and their needs. Funding is thus directed to those who are identified as in most need, and school fees are payed directly to schools against the name of an individual student.

The development of the charity has been largely organic, responding quickly to the further needs of those we support as such needs are identified.

We are proud that we are a small, personal, family-based charity and know each of those with whom we work, and those we support.

Our logo suggests the idea of sheltering and protecting children, while simplifying the name to ACC.
